Kanae: Origin of the company name

中国の食物を煮る金属製の器(鼎)

The company’s name, Kanae, is derived from an ancient Chinese bronze vessel known as a ding, pronounced kanae in Japanese. The kanae is firmly supported by three legs and was used as an important tool for boiling ingredients. In its stable form and vital function, we see an ideal image of what a company should be.

Just as the kanae stands robustly on three legs, we can achieve stability and strong growth only when the three elements of people, materials, and capital are balanced and support each other. Moreover, when each employee demonstrates the three strengths of cooperation, effort, and perseverance, the organization as a whole remains united, can overcome challenges, and continue moving forward into the future.

Our company is named as Kanae with these aspirations in mind. The unity of the three elements and the three strengths represents our origin and our unchanging belief as we work to realize unwavering trust and sustainable growth.
